Main Info
Day 1: Pick Up from Kampala. Travel to Mount Elgon National Park in Eastern Uganda. Stay an overnight at Mbale Resort Hotel
Day 2: Hike from Budadiri to Sasa River Camp. The journey takes abut 10.5km by way of the village of Bumasola and Mudange Cliffs. Stay at the Campsite
Day 3: Hike from the Sasa River camp to Mude Cave. The journey takes about 5km via the Sasa Patrol hut.
Day 4: Hike from Mude Cave to the Wagagai Summit. The day hike covers 18km including a descend to Mude Cave.
Day 5: Return from Mude Cave to Sasa River Camp 5km. Time permitting before leaving Mude Cave take a side trek exists to Jackson Summit 8km return.
Day 6: Hike from the Sasa River Camp to Budadiri. The journey covers 10.5km. Upon reaching Budadiri, you will be transfered to Mbale. Have lunch at Mbale Town. Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe.
